4.1 Introduction
SITRANS F 󹪞owmeters are suitable for indoor and outdoor installations.
• Make sure that pressure and temperature speci󹪝cations indicated on the device nameplate /
label will not be exceeded.
4.2 Installation safety precautions
WARNING
High pressure hazard
In applications with working pressures/media that can be dangerous to people, surroundings,
equipment or others in case of pipe fracture, we recommend that special precautions such as
special placement, shielding or installation of a pressure guard or a safety valve are taken when
the 󹪞owmeter is mounted.
Note
Install the sensor in well-supported pipelines in order to support the weight of the 󹪞owmeter.
Vibrations
Avoid strong vibrations.
