9.5.1 Write Protection (5.1.)
A password to prevent any changes to parameters via local push buttons, remote
communication, or Windows-based web browser. Write Protection must match User PIN
(5.2.) (Page 261) for the device to be unlocked.

9.5.2 User PIN (5.2.)
This is a private password to prevent any changes to the parameters via local push buttons,
remote communications, or Windows-based web browser.

● To view or change the User PIN, 5.1. Write Protection must match the current User PIN
value. If the PIN does not match 5.1. Write Protection '*****' will be displayed.
● If '*****' is displayed, the LUT400 parameters cannot be changed and will display the lock
icon, except for 5.1 Write Protection.
● User PIN cannot be changed via communications.
Note
The User PIN value cannot be recovered in the field. Record a new user PIN in a secure
manner.
