4.4 Alignment of SITRANS SL

The complete procedure for the alignment is described as follows starting with the receiver
side.
Note
It is also possible to start with the transmitter side but it is always necessary to align both
sides.
1. Release the clamp ring on
the RTU (receiver tube unit)
using the wrenches.
Support the receiver when
releasing.
2. Remove the receiver unit
3. Attach the light source and
switch it on
