Removing and Installing the Control Panel

6.4 Confirming the Operation of the Control Panel
1. Connect the system power cable to a properly grounded outlet.
2. Connect a transducer to the system.
3. Turn the power switch On.
4. Turn the Standby switch On.
5. Confirm that an image is displayed on the monitor.
6. Confirm that each LCD display changes every time you press each soft key
located next to the LCD cell.
7. Confirm that the image on the screen freezes when you press the FREEZE
key located on the control panel.
8. Use the controls on the control panel to produce an ultrasound image, and
enter exam and patient data; verify that all controls located on the control
panel operate properly.
