3.7 Detector Cards and Intelligent Detector Backplanes PCBs
Intelligent Detector Backplanes and Detector Cards do not form part of the base Controller
Cabinet and therefore should be specified separately. Figure 18 provides a listing of required
components.
3.7.1 Intelligent Detector Backplane in 400S Small Outercase
The ST750ELV Small Outercase can be specified with one of two different swing frame
configurations. Both options CANNOT fit in the 400S Small Outercase together.
On those occasions when four or less Intelligent Detector Cards are to be specified, sufficient
room is available, for the one necessary Intelligent Detector Backplane, in the Gemini/Detector
Swing Frame. Please refer to Figure 2, Figure 3 and Figure 18 and Paragraph 3.2
for more information.
Please note; if required, Single Detector Backplanes may be specified please refer to
paragraph 3.7.3 (667/1/15990/003).
The bottom portion of the Detector Swing Frame accommodates an Intelligent Detector
Backplane. A Gemini

unit can be mounted on the top portion of the Detector Swing Frame.
