hostname to uniquely identify your meter for
DHCP and DNS.
By default, this is set to the meter model plus
the last six-digits of the MAC address.
Domain name

The Ethernet domain name for the network
that the meter resides on.

incorrect, you may see slow communications

ION Setup reconnection
If you change the settings for the Ethernet connection method you are currently using to connect
to the meter, ION Setup tries to reconnect to the meter using the updated information. You can
view the process in the Device reconnection dialog box that appears.
