As follows, we show correct seat
positions for you and your passenger.
People who cannot reach a correct
seat position due to their physical
constitution must ask about possible
special devices at a specialised shop.
Optimum protection is only granted
by the seat belt in a correct position.
SILENCE recommends that you see
technical service.
For your own safety and to avoid
injury in the event of sharp movement
or braking, or of accident, SILENCE
recommends the following positions:
Valid for all vehicle occupants:
• Keep the back of your neck as close
as possible to the headrest >>> Fig. 2
• Always keep your feet in the
footrest area while driving.
• Properly adjust and buckle your
seat belt >>> Fig. 2.
The driver must also:
• Have their back completely resting
against the seat.
• Adjust the seat so that the wheel is
at least 25 cm (10 inches) from the
sternum >>> Fig. 1 and you can hold
it with both hands on both sides,
from the outside, with your arms
slightly bent.
• Adjust the seat lengthwise so that
you can press the pedals down all
the way with your knees slightly
bent, with a distance between
the knee zone and the instrument
dashboard of at least 10 cm (4
inches) >>> Fig. 1.
• Always keep your feet in the
footrest area to keep control over
the vehicle at all times.
Number of seats
The vehicle has 2 seats in the front.
Each seat is equipped with a seat belt.
WARNING
Sitting in an incorrect position in the
vehicle can increase the risk of serious
or lethal injury in the event of abrupt
movement or braking, collision, or
accident.
• Before driving, all occupants must always
be seated in a correct position and remain
in this position during the entire trip. The
same is true for seat belt placement.
• Only transport as many people as seats
with seat belts that the vehicle has.
• While driving, always keep your feet in
the footrest area. Never place them, for
example, on top of the seat or instrument
dashboard, and never put them out the
window. Otherwise, not only will the seat
belt be unable to oer you any protection,
but it may also increase the risk of injury in
the event of an accident.
