which you drive.
Occupants of the vehicle who have
not buckled their seat belts are not
“united” with the vehicle. In the event
of a frontal collision, these individuals
will move at the same speed as the
vehicle before the collision.
This example is valid not only for
frontal collision, but also for all kinds
of accidents.
Even when driving at a low speed,
in the event of collision, there are
forces on the body that cannot be
counteracted just by leaning against
one’s hands. In the event of a frontal
collision, vehicle occupants who are
not wearing their seat belt will be
launched uncontrollably forward and
will crash, for example, against the
wheel, the instrument dashboard, or
the windscreen.

• Pull the belt buckle and place the
belt uniformly over your chest and
pelvic region. Do not fold the belt
when doing so.
• Buckle the belt into the fastener on
its seat.
• Pull the belt to ensure that the
buckle is properly inserted into the
fastener.
