the control system automatically stops
charging when it reaches 100%.
If you connect at a low temperature,
the internal heater will turn on until
it reaches a suitable temperature for
charging (with battery units that have this
element activated). This heater operates
while connected to the electrical grid and
makes it so that current comes in under
suitable temperatures. In this case, the
charging time will be aected and will take
longer than under normal temperature
conditions.
We recommend keeping the battery
connected to the electrical grid in cold
places and during cold seasons of the year,
so that the heater heats the cells, and
they are at a suitable temperature for the
vehicle to be used normally.
WARNING
To keep your battery’s warranty, you must
completely charge it (up to 100%) at least
once per month. If you foresee that you
will not be using it for a long period of
time, it is very important that you charge
it enough that it does not go down to a
critical level. A battery that exceeds a
certain low voltage limit loses autonomy
to operate, which means it cannot be
charged and needs to be brought to ocial
technical service.
INFORMATION
Temperature
This vehicle has a system to
control and stabilise voltage and
cell temperature. To avoid critical
situations, safety systems limit
battery use if the cell temperature
exceeds safety limits in the event of
overheating or supercooling.
The battery’s operational range is
between -10 and 60ºC. Depending
on the temperature, the lithium
cells’ performance may vary.
The charger does not charge the
battery if the cell temperature is
lower than 0ºC or higher than
50ºC.
The battery’s current temperature
can be seen on the vehicle display.
If the limits are exceeded (upper or
lower, alert or error), the following
LED will warn you:
If necessary, the actions you must take
are:
Low temperature: The battery
does not operate under optimum
conditions; store it in a warmer
location and charge it (if the internal
heater is activated).
High temperature: Due to intensive
use, the battery cannot provide any
more power; avoid SPORT mode
Temperature Indicator. It blinks when a
component is nearing its admissible limit
(upper or lower). The light remains steady
when this limit is exceeded. Motor: 100 °C
(int.), 110°C (solid light). Controller: 70
°C (int.), 75 °C (solid light). Battery: 50 °C
(int.), 60 °C (solid light) / 5°C (int.), -10
°C (solid light).
