Autonomy
The denition of an electric vehicle’s
autonomy is the distance it can travel
with one single complete battery
charge.
This is inuenced by many factors,
such as driving style, vehicle load (kg)
and proper distribution, tyre pressure,
and unfavourable weather conditions,
such as wind, which can reduce it.
The display provides an estimate
of remaining kilometres (or miles)
of autonomy. This information is
approximate and depends on the
driving mode (CITY/ECO/SPORT) and
the current amount of power used.
Battery charge indicator in %
(SoC)
In order to read the battery’s state
of charge (SoC, in %) with utmost
precision, you must nish the
charging process up to 100% (at
least after 3 or 4 partial charges).
Good battery charging practices
You must follow these
recommendations when charging the
battery:
When charging at home, place the
battery in isolated, ventilated areas
like garages, laundry rooms, storage
rooms, or patios.
Do not charge the battery in the
rain when it is outside the vehicle.
Do not charge in areas with trac
or entrances to the home.
Keep the battery far from hot
elements or that can cause heat,
such as radiators or stoves.
Keep the battery far from mobile
elements like vehicles or doors,
avoiding all possible blows to the
battery.
Keep the battery at a prudent
distance from all other elements like
tables, cabinets, chairs, and shelves.
Periodically check on the battery
while charging.
Good practices for proper battery
maintenance
The battery’s life cycle can last 1,000
cycles with 80% of its capacity if you
conduct maintenance as prescribed
by the warranty and follow a series of
good practises:
Avoid excessive use of SPORT mode,
and attempt to use CITY mode as
much as possible (reason: avoiding
aggressive driving with constant
abrupt accelerations).
Avoid completely draining the
battery. Charge the battery when it
nears 25% of SoC, thereby avoiding
complete cycles and limiting
discharge depth.
Keep the battery temperature
between 20-30ºC and limit time
outside this range to the least
amount possible. When you exceed
these temperatures, the battery
deteriorates more easily and loses
its properties, both with high and
low temperatures.
Whenever possible, use the internal
charger to charge, avoiding constant
and stop the vehicle if necessary so
it can cool down.
