Battery charging
You can charge your S04’s battery
both inside the vehicle and outside it.
In any event, the vehicle and battery
have a male IEC jack to connect the
power cable. The cable as a female
IEC terminal and another male Schuko
terminal (normally used in Europe to
connect to the residential grid).
The charging cable is in the bag with
the emergency kit (in the boot space)

The charger (600 W) is built into
the battery pack itself, so all you
need to charge is an electrical outlet
connected to the grid and the power
cable. It is cooled by convection.
- To connect, you must rst plug in
the IEC connector (vehicle or the
battery itself) and then into the grid.
You must charge completely at least
after partially charging 3 or 4
times. In the same fashion, you must

also do a complete slow charge after
3 or 4 quick charges.
- To disconnect, you must rst unplug
from the electrical grid, and then the
IEC connector. You may interrupt the
charging process at any time. Additio-
nally, the control system automatically
stops charging when it reaches 100%.
If the battery is at less than 0ºC or
more than 50ºC (due to inappropriate
use), it will not charge.
If you connect at a low temperature,
the internal heater will turn on until
it reaches a suitable temperature for
charging (with battery units that have
this element activated). This heater
operates while connected to the elec-
trical grid and makes it so that current
comes in under suitable temperatures.
In this case, the charging time will be
aected and will take longer than un-
der normal temperature conditions.
