Basic observations
Regular, professional maintenance
work ensures that you preserve your
vehicle’s value. This can also become
an essential condition to demand
warranty rights in the event of rust
damage and deciencies in the paint
on the frame.
Specialised shops have necessary
maintenance products. We kindly
request that you follow application
instructions on containers.
Washing the vehicle
The longer you take to clean residues,
e.g., insect remains, bird excrement,
tree sap, or de-icing salts stuck to
your vehicle, the greater the damage
they can do to the surface. High
temperatures, for example due to
sunlight, reinforce this harmful eect.
Before washing, soften thick dirtiness
with plenty of water.
To eliminated encrusted dirtiness,
like excrement, insects, or tree sap,
it is best to use plenty of water and a
microber cloth.
Also, wash underneath the vehicle
after the de-icing salt period in winter.
• Incorrectly applying maintenance
products can be harmful to your health.
• Always keep maintenance products in
a safe place and out of reach of children.

WARNING
High-pressure cleaning devices
If you wash the vehicle with a
high-pressure cleaning device, you
must closely follow the device’s
instructions. The aforementioned
is especially valid for pressure and
distance from the vehicle when
spraying with water. Do not point the
spray straight at joints inside windows,
doors, or covers; the same holds
true for tyres, exible rubber tubes,
soundproong material, sensors*, etc.
Keep a minimum distance of 40 cm.
Do not remove snow and ice with
a high-pressure cleaning device.
Never use circular sprayers or mills to
remove dirtiness.
Water should be no hotter than 60ºC.
Automatic carwashes
Rinse the vehicle before you begin
washing.
Ensure that the windows are closed,
and the windscreen wipers are
deactivated. Follow the carwash
operator’s instructions, especially if
there are removable parts on your
