→ Never heat when empty or leave
unattended.
→ Make sure that the liquid in the
food being cooked does not
completely evaporate. Failure to
do so can result in the food being
burned, or cause damage to the
cookware or hob. Please follow the
instructions from the hob manu-
facturer, especially for induction
hobs.
Danger
→ Never touch the hot outer
surfaces of the ecompact
round or the handles of the
insert during use, only touch the
handles on the roasting pan or the
lid. If necessary use pan holders.
→ Use suitable, heat-resistant hand
protection, particularly when you
are using the cookware in the oven.
→ Grip the ecompact round firmly
and securely when carrying it;
when it contains hot food carry
using the handles only.
→ Never put your hand in the steam.
Removing the lid or insert releases
water vapour which has built up.
This is at a temperature of up to
100 °C and can cause scalding
when it comes into contact with
the skin unless suitable protective
equipment (pan holders or similar)
is used.
→ Use pan holders when removing
the insert, as this becomes hot
during cooking.
→ Move the ecompact round very
carefully when it is full. Avoid
sudden movements, as hot liquids
may spill.
→ There is a danger of scalding when
roasting, as oil and fat spray when
they come into contact with water
in food.
→ When cooking viscous foods use a
ecompact round
