Cleaning and care instructions
Clean all parts thoroughly with hot
water, detergent and a sponge (soft
side of scouring pad) after every
use.
Never use wire brushes, abrasive
scouring agents or the abrasive
side of a scouring pad to clean it.
The pan is scratch-resistant, but the
abrasive side of scouring pads often
contains scouring agents with very
hard corundum.

Dry the cookware well before
storing it.
If possible, do not let food dry onto
the surface. Soak stubborn food
residue and gently remove with a
sponge or brush.
For white protein marks, other
stubborn marks or food residue
we recommend using Silit care
products, available from specialist
Silit dealers.
If marks appear on the cookware
after use that cannot be removed
by normal washing with detergent
or in the dishwasher, use vinegar
water (tap water and vinegar) to
remove the marks.
You can also clean the cookware
in the dishwasher. This may result
in discolouration of the synthetic
handles or the Silargan® surface.
However, this does not impair the
function. We recommend cleaning
by hand.
Dry the cookware thoroughly after
cleaning.
The thermometer cannot be
washed in the dishwasher; you
must wipe it with a damp cloth.
