Charging the internal battery
CAUTION
► Charge the speaker only in dry interior rooms.
► Due to the high power consumption, the speaker must be charged
using a USB mains adapter. Do not charge the speaker from the
USB port of a PC or notebook.
► Use only a USB mains adapter with an output voltage of 5V and
an output current of at least 1A to charge the speaker.
► Use only the supplied charging cable q to charge the speaker!
► Always disconnect the charging cable q when charging is
complete and close the protective cover 4!
Before using the speaker, the integrated battery must be completely
charged.
♦ Open the protective cover 4.
♦ Connect the USB type-A connector of the charger cable q to a
suitable USB mains adapter (not supplied).
♦ Connect the micro-USB plug of the charging cable q to the
micro-USB charging socket 3 on the speaker.
♦ When charging is complete, remove the charging cable q from
the speaker and close the protective cover 4.
NOTE
► The charging LED 2 lights up orange during the charging process.
When the battery is fully charged, the charging LED 2 goes out.
► When the battery is fully charged, you can play back music for
around 10hours at a medium volume. The playback time may
vary depending on usage.
► When the battery charge is low, you will hear a beep. The
charging LED 2 flashes orange every 10seconds. When the
battery is exhausted, the speaker turns off automatically. You will
hear a beep and the charging LED 2 goes out. If the battery is
completely exhausted, it will take about 3 hours to fully recharge
the battery.
► The speaker cannot be used during charging.
