a solid, flat surface.
Press the On / Off / Zero

scale to weighing mode again and read off the
equivalent weight of the liquid.

Troubleshooting
Error Cause Solution

does not change.
The maximum capacity of

Remove the food from the kitchen scale

Switch the kitchen scale

off and then back
on again.
Reduce the amount of food and weigh it in
several steps.

The battery is empty.
Replace the battery as described in the
“Replacing the battery” chapter.
