6.3 Transport lock
If the transport lock is activated, a lock symbol flashes|10.
• Press and hold the on/off switch|6 for approx. 4 seconds, in
order to switch the transport lock on/off.
• Connecting the plug-in power unit|17 deactivates the trans-
port lock, which cannot be activated during mains opera-
tion.
6.4 Shaving
DANGER! Risk of electric shock!
~ The hand-held device and the plug-in power unit are not wa-
terproof and are therefore not allowed to be used in a show-
er/bath.
WARNING!
~ Do not use the device on open wounds, cuts, sunburn or blis-
ters.
~ Do not place excessive pressure on the shaving foils|1. They
are thin and can be damaged easily.
NOTES:
• The device is suitable for both dry and wet shaving (Wet &
Dry).
• Initial use may cause temporary irritation or redness of the skin,
as the skin has to adjust to shaving. This is normal and usually
lasts between 2 and 4 weeks.
