6. Charging the battery
NOTES:
• Fully charge the battery29 before us-
ing it for the first time.
• It takes approx. 3.5 hours to fully
charge the battery.
• After every use, hang the suction de-
vice2 up in the holder of the base sta-
tion26. This ensures that the suction
device will always work at full power.
The battery29 is not damaged by reg-
ular charging.
Charging the suction device via the
base station
1. Connect the power
cable of the power
adapter25 to the
socket24 on the
top right-hand side
of the base sta-
tion26.
2. Plug the plug into a
suitable wall socket.
The wall socket must still be easily accessible
after connection.
3. After every use,
hang the suction de-
vice2 up on the
hook23 of the
base station26.
The LEDs of the
charging indica-
tor21 are lit or start
flashing. When all
LEDs are lit, the bat-
tery29 is fully
charged.
A full charge is enough to use the vacuum
cleaner in ECO mode for approx.
40 minutes or in normal mode for approx
10 minutes.
Connecting the suction device
directly to the mains
You can also charge the battery29 when
the suction device is not in the battery charg-
er.
• Connect the power cable of the power
adapter25 directly to the socket4 un-
der the handle3 of the suction de-
vice2.
• Then plug the plug into a suitable wall
socket.
NOTE: the battery29 has another charg-
ing indicator28. This is only visible when
the suction device is not hanging in the base
station26.
LED signals during charging
- Lit LEDs show the current charging state.
- A flashing LED indicates that the battery
is charging.
- When all 4 LEDs are lit continuously, the
battery is fully charged.
LED signals during operation
- Lit LEDs show the current charging state.
- Unlit LEDs show the consumed portion.
- One LED flashes: battery29 weak, the
device will switch off soon.
NOTE: If the rotating brush37 / hard floor
roller40 is blocked, the vacuum cleaner
switches off. The LEDs21 /28 /39 flash
for approx. 7 seconds. Only then can the
vacuum cleaner be switched on again.
