NOTE – COOKING RICE
►
Add rice and water in a ratio of 1:2 (2 measuring cups o of rice to 4 measuring
cups o of water) to the pressure cooker. Make sure that the content reaches at least
the 1/5 marking in the inner bowl i.
► Cook the rice for about 10 minutes using the programme "Rice" .
♦ Portion the food so that the fi ll level is between the 1/5 and 4/5 marking on the
scale in the inner bowl i. For foods that expand during cooking, the fi ll level
must not exceed the 3/5 mark.
♦ Check that the heating element u and the outside of the inner bowl i are free
of contamination and food residues.
♦ Replace the inner bowl i into the appliance. Twist the inner bowl i briefl y on
the heating element u to ensure that is properly in place.
