6.1 Operating time
For the five application areas we recom-
mend the following operating times:
- Multifunction up to 2 minutes contin-
uously, then a 2-minute break
- Chopper up to 2 minutes continuously,
then a 2-minute break
- Hand blender up to 1 minute contin-
uously, then a 2-minute break
- Masher up to 1 minute continuously,
then a 2-minute break
- Whisk up to 2 minutes continuously,
then a 2-minute break
6.2 Switching on/off and
speeds
Press the controller|2 to switch the de-
vice on.
The speed increases with the intensity
the controller is pressed. Keep the con-
troller|2 pressed to work in the set
speed.
Release the controller|2 to switch the
device off.
6.3 Hand blender
Application area:
The hand blender|24 is ideal for puréeing
cooked fruit and vegetables and for mixing
drinks, soups, sauces, etc. and for making
milkshakes.
Do not use the hand blender|
24
for especial-
ly hard food such as ice cubes or for nuts.
NOTE: adapt the rotation speed to suit the
food to be blended. Select normal speed for
soft foods to and for harder food
the highest speed .
1. Cut the cooked fruit and vegetables into
small pieces.
2. Put the food into the measuring beak-
er|21 or another suitable container.
3. Place the motor unit|1 on the hand
blender|24 until it engages.
4. Immerse the hand blender into the food
to be pureed/blended.
5. Connect the mains plug|3 with the wall
socket.
6. Press the controller|2 to switch the de-
vice on. The speed increases with the
intensity the controller is pressed.
7. Move the hand blender|24 up and
down a bit in the food, to ensure that it
is blended evenly.
8. When you are finished, let go of the
controller|2.
9. After the mixing process, wait until the
blade comes to a standstill. Pull out the
mains plug|3 and remove the hand
blender|24 from the food.
10. Clean the device immediately if possible.
NOTE: if the hand blender|24 builds up a
suction and adheres to the bottom of the con-
tainer, let go of the controller|2 briefly.
