Engage PTO for 15 seconds, then disengage and wait for blades to stop.
Repeat step 1 ten times, noting blade stopping time.
Ensure stopping time is five seconds or less; adjust or replace if necessary.
Stop tractor, shut off PTO, engine, and remove key; do not engage parking brake.
Turn adjustment screw clockwise to increase tension; ensure lever returns to neutral.
Engine should not crank if PTO is engaged, brake not fully depressed, or transmission engaged.
Engine should crank if PTO disengaged, brake fully depressed, and transmission disengaged.
Engine must shut off if operator rises off the seat.
Mower blades must stop within five seconds after PTO is turned off.
Block front tires and elevate rear of tractor; remove left rear wheel.
Loosen jam nut, activate seat switch, depress brake pedal, start engine.
Adjust eccentric to find neutral, hold in place, and secure with jam nut.
Shut off engine, reinstall wheel, and perform test run.
Loosen hardware and adjust support arms up or down for proper fit.
Tighten hardware, reinstall catcher, and check fit between catcher and tractor.
Close catcher, check fit against back plate; loosen bracket hardware if seal is poor.
