III -d Mechanism of Needle Selection
When the scanning finger of a
touch lever does not find a punched
hole and can not come
through, that touch lever will
stay in lower
position and push the
upper part of
Main Drum Piece
making the lower
part of
Main Drum Piece come
out to push the
upper part of Sub
Drum
Piece.
The
lower part of the Sub Drum Piece will be
up and
off and
does not
touch the needle butt leaving
the needle between the
teeth
of the Sub Drum Gear to be led behind the
