Special tools and workshop equipment required
t Torque wrench 5 to 50 Nm (e.g. -V.A.G 1331-)
t Pliers for spring strap clips
Note
Always replace seals and gasket rings.
Moisten “O”-ring -1- with coolant additive and
slide onto coolant pipe -2-.
Push the coolant pipe into the bore hole on the
cylinder block.
Tighten bracket for coolant pipe to 10 Nm.

t Adapter (e.g. -V.A.G 1274/8-)
t Adapter (e.g. -V.A.G 1274/9-)
