This services automatically establishes a connection to the emergency call
centre in the event of a serious accident with airbag or seat belt pretensioner
triggering. The emergency call centre simultaneously receives information on
the accident, e.g. the location and severity of the accident, the number of oc-
cupants with fastened seatbelts and the vehicle identification number (VIN).
In the event of a minor accident, the system offers the option of connecting
to the emergency call centre via the Infotainment screen. After confirming the
message in the infotainment screen or the display of the instrument cluster,
the connection is established to the emergency call centre.
A connection to the emergency call centre can be made manually by pressing
and holding the
B
» Fig. 9 button, e.g. if you are reporting an accident in which
you were not directly involved. After confirming the message in the infotain-
ment screen or the display of the instrument cluster, the connection is estab-
lished to the emergency call centre.
The system status is displayed after the ignition is switched on, by the illumi-
nation of warning lamp

Green - the system is functional.
Red - there is a fault in the system.
Note
The emergency service is functional even without user registration and activa-
tion of services.
