The 1,900-litre cargo space is easily accessible from three sides:
through the wide and high side doors and the large rear-hinged
fi fth door.
In the driver and passenger’s space, which is safely separated by
a sliding partition wall with a grate in its upper section, the vehicle
crew will feel as comfortable as in a passenger car. As standard,
the vehicle is provided with front airbags, and to improve safety,
you may also have your car equipped with electronic systems,
such as ESP (Electronic Stability Programme) etc.
The
Škoda Praktik, the new utility car, eff ortlessly moves
through the city traff ic. Due to its manoeuvrability and dimensions,
you will easily park it, and thanks to the new economy engines
off ered, you can also look forward to its economical running cost.
The Škoda Praktik will prove successful wherever the transportation
of smaller loads is concerned, for example in home delivery
services, as well as in fl eets of larger companies.
Behind the compact vehicle exterior lies an extraordinarily spacious
interior for both the load and two-person crew of the vehicle.
Under the third part of the fl oor
(behind the driver and passenger’s
space), you will fi nd practical
storage spaces for tools, tow
bar etc.
The adjustable transverse partition wall,
which separates the cargo space from the
crew space, can be moved by up to 10 cm.
A shorter driver, setting his or her seat more
forward, may slide the wall forward to utilise
the maximum size of the cargo space. On the
contrary, a driver who needs more space may
slide the partition wall, as well as his or her
seat, deeper towards the storage space.
In the new Škoda Praktik utility car, a highly accessible
storage
space is available with a maximum volume of 1,900 litres.
The folding fl oor of the cargo space consists of one fi xed and two
hinged parts. The fi rst part of the fl oor (right behind the loading
edge) and the third part (behind the driver and passenger’s space)
can be folded. The central part of the fl oor is fi xed.
The dashboard, designed in Onyx/Onyx (see photo) or Onyx/Silvergrey, includes a logical and
transparent layout. The instruments are excellently laid out and visible, and the controllers are easily
reachable. The newly off ered equipment of the Škoda Praktik car model includes the Swing radio with
a CD and MP3 player.
The lock on the inner side of the tailgate
is designed for an emergency opening of
the cargo space from the vehicle interior.
The anti-slip fl oor surface with six
fi xing lugs reliably ensures stability
of transported cargo.
The sheet metal panelling of the rear side
doors protects the cargo from sunshine and
from being seen from the outside. When
compared with glass, the sheet metal covers
are more resistant and, when moving cargo,
they are less likely to be damaged than glass.
The tailgate glass can be protected against any
damage by a
protection grate, which also
reduces the danger of the car being broken
into.
