10 DVI-300 HUMAN MACHINE INTERFACE
10.1 GENERAL
This section provides a brief description of each of the DVI-300 human machine interface components. For more
detailed information on each of these components, refer to the DVI-300 User's Guide.
10.2 KEYPAD
The DVI-300 has a thirteen button keypad which is used for dialling numbers and when used as part of a CDU-
300 composing messages.
10.3 ANNUNCIATORS
Two annunciators on the panel indicate a variety of conditions. Please refer the DVI-300 User’s Guide for more
details.
10.4 RS232 PROGRAMMING PORT
The RS232 programming port is used for updating the DVI-300 firmware directly from a computer running
Windows XP or later.
