Note: The CrossBow 2 tent comes
with 8 guy lines with clam cleats.
2 of these guy lines will be used
for guying out the wings of the
WebTruss if trekking poles are
used. Use the remainder of the
guy lines to externally and/or
internally guy out the rest of the
tent (if necessary).
Step 12: Connect the ysheet to
the WebTruss using the o-ring and
door tie connectors along the
underside of the ysheet.
Step 11: Adjust the tension at each
corner of the ysheet using the
attached cord and clam cleats.
Step 10: Stake out the ysheet
vestibules (G, H) using the attached
guy line with clam cleat. If you used
the trekking pole setup, this will be
the same stake out location as the
guy line for the trekking pole.
Step 9: Find and layout the y-
sheet. Note that one end of the
ysheet has a reective tab at
each corner. Match that end of the
ysheet with the end of the tent
body that also has a reective tab
at each corner. Connect the Ridge
Clips at the corners of the ysheet
onto the respective o-rings on the
grommet tabs at each corner of
the tent body (A, B, C, D).

ep 8: Connect the tent body to
the WebTruss via the clips attached
(DAC twist clips along the top of
the tent body, two (2) Ridge clips at
the end of the WebTruss wing
connect to the o-rings at the top
corners of the tent body).

ep 7: Adjust the tension of the
WebTruss by pulling or loosening
the webbing at the tension buckles
(located at corners where the Web-
Truss attaches to the tent body.
Step 6 (for StormPak): Wrap Velcro
tabs around poles at each corner.
Step 5 (cont’d): Stick the tip end of
your trekking pole into the ground.
Connect a guy line with clam cleat
to each o-ring at the ends of the
WebTruss wings (E, F). Stake out the
loop end of the guy line cord to the
ground. This will be the same stake
location as the ysheet vestibules
(G, H).
