3. Tighten all cables in the terminal blocks in the DC disconnect with a torque of 15 in‑lb. (1.7 Nm).
6.7 Communication
The Sunny Boy can be equipped with a communication interface in order to communicate with SMA
communication products.

1. Connect the negative DC cable to the terminal (A)
labeled COMBINED in the DC disconnect.
2. Connect the positive DC cable to the terminal (B)
labeled PV GROUNDED in the DC disconnect.
