14 Disconnecting the Sunny Central SMA Solar Technology AG

Procedure:
1. Switch the key switch of the Sunny Central to Stop.
2. Wait 15 minutes before opening the inverter. This will ensure that the capacitors are discharged.
3. Disconnect the external AC voltage of the MV transformer.
4. Disconnect the DC voltage in the main distribution (e.g. Sunny Main Box) or the sub-distribution
(e.g. Sunny String-Monitor).
5. Open the door of the interface cabinet.
6. Switch off the AC circuit breaker in the inverter.
7. Disconnect the external supply voltage externally.
8. Disconnect any additional external voltage.
9. Switch off the circuit breaker for external supply voltage.
10. Switch off the motor-protective circuit-breaker of the grid
monitoring.
11. Open the test and disconnect terminals.
12. Ensure that all poles are free of voltage.
13. Ground and short-circuit the inverter.
14. Cover or isolate any adjacent live components.
15. Unscrew the protective cover over the fuses.
