Option Description
Automatic
The SunnyHomeManager updates data on the pages Current
Status and Forecast and on the tabs Current within a few
seconds. The SunnyHomeManager sends data that is dis-
played on other pages to SunnyPortal within a few minutes (up
to a maximum of 15 minutes). If loads are controlled via radio-
controlled sockets, you must activate the Automatic option.
Hourly The SunnyHomeManager sends data to and requests data
from SunnyPortal hourly.
Settings made via SunnyPortal are sent to the
SunnyHomeManager within 60minutes.
Daily The SunnyHomeManager sends data to and requests data
from SunnyPortal every 24 hours.
Settings made on SunnyPortal are sent to the SunnyHomeMan-
ager within 24hours.
4. Select [Save].
8.8 Activating/Deactivating Automatic Software Updates
If the automatic software update is activated, SunnyPortal regularly checks whether there are
update files for the SunnyHomeManager or for the PV system devices. If there are update files,
these are automatically downloaded and the devices are updated.
You can activate/deactivate the automatic software update for:
• SunnyHomeManager
• PV system devices
By default, the automatic software update is activated for the SunnyHomeManager and the
devices in the PV system.
Requirement:
☐ You must have the user role Installer or PV System Administrator (see Section13.1,
page120).
Activating/Deactivating the Automatic Software Update for the
SunnyHomeManager
1. Call up the device properties of the SunnyHomeManager (see Section8.2, page66).
2. Select [Edit].
☑ The menu for setting the device properties opens.
3. To activate the automatic software update, activate the checkbox SunnyHomeManager in
the area Automatically update software.
