Activating/Deactivating the Automatic Software Update for PV System Devices
1. Call up the device properties of the SunnyHomeManager (see Section8.2, page66).
2. Select [Edit].
☑ The menu for setting the device properties opens.
3. To activate the automatic software update, activate the checkbox PV system devices in the
area Automatically update software.
4. To deactivate the automatic software update, deactivate the checkbox PV system devices in
the area Automatically update software.
5. Select [Save].
8.9 Entering Line Conductors
SunnyPortal can display the line conductor to which each inverter is connected in the device
properties. Enter the line conductor you are looking for.
Requirement:
☐ You must have the user role Installer or PV System Administrator (see Section13.1,
page120).
Procedure:
1. Select the device properties of the inverter (see Section8.2, page66).
2. Select [Edit].
☑ The menu for setting the device properties opens.
3. In the area Phase, activate the checkbox of the line conductor to which the inverter is
connected.
4. Select [Save].
8.10 Entering the PV Array Power
The PV array power is the maximum power of the PV modules connected to one inverter.
Procedure:
• Calculate the PV array power via the string properties (see Section12.1, page107).
or
• Enter the PV array power manually
SMA Solar Technology AG recommends calculating the PVarray power via the string properties. A
string describes a group of series-connected PV modules. Normally, a PV system is made up of
multiple strings. Each string has specific properties, such as deviation to south (azimuth) or the roof
tilt angle.
