8.12 Changing a Device Description
You can enter an user-defined description for each device. The description of the device is
displayed in Device Properties.
Requirement:
☐ You must be a Standard user, Installer or PV system administrator (see Section13.1,
page120).
Procedure:
1. Call up the properties of the device (see Section8.2, page66).
2. Select [Edit].
☑ The menu for setting the device properties opens.
3. Enter a description in the text field Description.
4. Select [Save].
