10.2 Activating/Deactivating Devices
In the following cases, you must deactivate devices in SunnyPortal:
• You have removed a device from your PV system
or
• You no longer wish to display a device in SunnyPortal
or
• You would like to replace the device in SunnyPortal by another device (see Section10.1,
page94).
The data of the deactivated device is retained in SunnyPortal.
Requirement:
• You must have the user role Installer or PV system administrator (see Section13.1,
page120).
Procedure:
1. Select the device properties of the device (see Section8.2, page66).
2. Select [Edit].
☑ The menu for setting the device properties opens.
3. To deactivate the device in SunnyPortal, deactivate the checkbox Active in the area Data
collection.
4. To activate the device in SunnyPortal, activate the checkbox Active in the area Data
collection.
5. Select [Save].
10.3 Replacing the SunnyHomeManager
Requirements:
☐ The NetID of the PV system must be set in the SunnyHomeManager (see the installation
manual of the SunnyHomeManager).
☐ The new SunnyHomeManager must be connected to the router (see the installation manual
of the SunnyHomeManager).
☐ The new SunnyHomeManager must be supplied with voltage (see the installation manual of
the SunnyHomeManager).
☐ You must be a system administrator (see Section13.1, page120).
Procedure:
1. Open www.SunnyPortal.com and select PV System Setup Assistant.
or
Go to www.SunnyPortal.com/Register.
☑ The PVSystem Setup Assistant opens.
