Drive system/electric motor
Problem Possible causes/consequences and M Solutions
The propulsion power
decreases although
the battery is still
providing enough
electrical energy.
Under heavy loads, the electric motor restricts its power out-
put. This protects it from overheating, for example on long and
steep inclines.
X
Reduce the drive level or stop briefly to allow the electric
motor to cool down.
X
If the pedal-assist technology fails frequently, have the
system checked at a qualified specialist workshop.
