Occupant restraint system (SRS  Supplemental Restraint System):
All smart vehicles are equipped with seat belts
and an additional occupant restraint system (SRS).
The system encompasses:
• Indicator lamp in the instrument cluster
• Emergency tensioning retractors
• Belt force limiters
•Airbags
The driver airbag (1) in the smart model series is
located in the steering wheel housing.
