Using the turn signals
The ignition must be switched on in order
to use the turn signals.

To indicate: press the combination switch
in the direction of arrow 1 (right) or 2
(left) past the point of resistance.

To indicate briefly: press the combina-
tion switch briefly to the point of resist-
ance.
The turn signal flashes three times.

tions or traffic flow
You can minimise your vehicle's CO

emissions by driving carefully and hav-
ing it serviced regularly.

case based on the currently applicable
version:

for vehicles that comply with Euro 6
standard, in accordance with Regula-
tion (EC) No. 715/2007
Deviations from these values may occur
under normal operating conditions.
Recommendations for driving economically:

ensure that the tyre pressures are correct
R
avoid unnecessary loads
R
warm up the engine while driving at low
engine speeds
R
vehicles with manual transmission:
change to a higher gear in good time
R
vehicles with automatic transmission:
drive the vehicle in drive program E
(Comfort)
R
accelerate the vehicle moderately
R
maintain an overview of the traffic situa-
tion and drive with care
R
release the accelerator pedal in good time
R
allow the vehicle to coast without using
the brakes
R
have maintenance work carried out at the
specified service intervals

Avoid excessive engine speeds. This
unnecessarily increases the fuel con-
sumption of your vehicle and harms the
environment as a result of increased
emissions.
