NTS MAGNET PLACEMENT – RAIL
Initial placement can be determined by
using the “Hoistway Switch Position Table”
on Sheet 01: Getting Started of the
drawings or on page 106.
Setting Magnet Distance:
1. Follow the “NTS Switch Setup
Procedure” located in the testing
DT# (DNTS)
Measure center of Door Zone Magnet up to
middle of Lifesaver magnets
UT# (UNTS)
Measure center of Door Zone Magnet down to
middle of Lifesaver magnets
