Installation Instructions
Scout Trailer Kit
Part#87400/87400-01
Wheel Recommendations:
Wheels should have a center bore of at least 2.55“
Wheels should have a maximum of 4.25” backspacing but will vary depending on tire and wheel
combination. Always check for adequate clearance between tire, trailer body and parking brake
cable. If running a 12.5” tire you will want around 4” backspace.
Factory Wrangler JK wheels will not fit unless you use a lug centric wheel spacer that is at least
1.5”-2” thick. 2” recommended if larger/wider than stock tires are used, to allow clearance
between tire and brake line.
Always use the correct lug nut for your particular wheels. Check with wheel manufacture for lug
nut recommendation.
