Overview

The Access Networks A750 Access Point is a high-performance wireless access point designed for robust network connectivity. It supports both Unleashed and ARCC Cloud-Based Controller setups, offering flexibility in network management.

Function Description:

The A750 Access Point provides wireless network access, supporting various Wi-Fi standards and offering multiple power options. It is designed for both flat surface and drop-ceiling T-bar mounting, making it versatile for different installation environments. The device features multiple Ethernet ports, including a Power over Ethernet (PoE) input, and a USB port for additional connectivity. It can operate in different power modes, affecting its radio capabilities and the functionality of its secondary ports.

  • 902-1180-US00: Multi-Gigabit PoE injector (60W) (10/100/1000/2500/5000/10000 Mbps).
  • 902-0180-US00: Gigabit PoE Injector (60W) (10/100/1000 Mbps).
  • 902-1170-US00: Power Supply (48V, 0.75A, 36W).
  • 902-0120-0000: Spare, Accessory Mounting Bracket.
  • 902-0195-0000: Spare, T-bar ceiling mounting kit for mounting flush frame ceiling.

Usage Features:

Mounting:

  • Flat Surface Mounting:
    1. Use the provided template to mark two drill holes.
    2. Drill 4.75mm (3/16") holes approximately 25mm (1") deep.
    3. Insert factory-supplied anchors and mounting screws, leaving about 6mm (1/4 inch) of the screw heads protruding.
    4. Place the AP onto the mounting screws, aligning keyholes, and push down until the AP retainer tab snaps into place.
    5. (Optional) Attach a customer-supplied padlock through the integral AP retainer tab for added security.
  • Drop-Ceiling T-Bar Mounting:
    1. Position the T-bar bracket studs into the keyholes on the AP enclosure.
    2. Slide the T-bar bracket until the AP retainer tab snaps into place, trapping the studs.
    3. Insert the locking tab into the first position on the T-bar bracket.
    4. Gently push ceiling tiles (if present) up and out of the way.
    5. Position the T-bar bracket so its two clasps grip one edge of the T-bar.
    6. Hold the AP in place and gently push the locking tab until its clasp grips the other edge of the T-bar, ensuring all three clasps are gripping.
    7. (Optional) Attach a customer-supplied padlock through the bracket AP retainer tab for added security.

Security:

  • The A750 access point features an integrated security latch that locks the AP in position. An included key is used to disable the security latch for removal.

Network Management:

  • Supports both Unleashed and ARCC Cloud-Based Controller setups.
  • For configuration and management, refer to the Access Networks Partner Portal Resource Center.

Maintenance Features:

Resetting to Factory Defaults:

  • CAUTION: A reset button is available. Use the tip of a pen or a 3-mm flat-blade screwdriver to press and hold the reset button for 4 seconds or longer to restore factory defaults. This should only be done if instructed.
  • Post-Reset Access: After a reset, the internal AP web interface can be accessed via https://192.168.0.1. The device accessing it must use an IP address from 192.168.0.2 through 192.168.0.254, with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. The default username is super, and the password is sp-admin.
