Phone Settings and Files

Phone Settings

Settings are non-volatile name/value pairs stored in the phone's flash memory.

Settings Files

ASCII-based files containing settings, comments start with '#' or '<'.

Downloading Procedure

Settings are downloaded from web servers using HTTP.

Redirection Settings

redirect_event

Event that causes redirection: <all>, <busy>, <none>, <time>.

redirect_time

Number of seconds after which the phone will redirect the incoming call.

redirect_number

The redirection target, potentially a comma-separated list of destinations.

redirect_busy_number

The redirection target when the redirect_event is set to busy.

Basic Phone Settings

language

Selects the language displayed on the phone.

Call Handling Features

call_waiting

Manages call waiting indication, signaling incoming calls during an active call.

Administrator and SIP Line Settings

admin_mode

Sets the phone to administrator or user mode, controlling access to settings.
