RS485 Port
RS485 is used for communications between the SOFAR 3.3K~12KTL-X and
data acquisition devices such as loggers or PC terminals.
We recommended to use 24 AWG outdoor shielded network cables with the
internal resistance ≤ 1.5 Ω/10 m and an external diameter of 4.5 mm to 7.5 mm.
The included waterproof RJ45 connector has six parts, as shown below.

When laying communications cables, ensure that communications cables are
separated from power cables and away from interference sources.
