Figure 4-18 Stripping length of DC cable
1. Positive power cable 2. Negative power cable
Note: L2 is 2 to 3 mm longer than L1.
Step 3: Insert the positive and negative power cables into corresponding
cable glands.
Step 4: Insert the stripped power cables into correct gender metal pin and
crimp them using an appropriate crimper.

Step 5 Insert crimped power cables into corresponding housings until you
hear a "click" sound. The power is now secured in place.
