CLEANING THE AIR OUTLET FILTER OF THE CANISTER (21):
• Regularly check the condition of the air outlet filter (21). It is important to
change or clean this filter regularly in order to maintain the suction power
of the appliance.
• Clean it whenever it is necessary. To do so, pull the air outlet filter outwards
(Fig. 13)
• Shake the filter well or, if necessary, wash it under running water with
soap.
• Important: allow it to dry completely for 24 hours before putting it back
in the canister.
• In order to install it, introduce the filter in its housing and press until the
tabs of the grille extend from the surface of the filter.
• Important: Never use the vacuum cleaner without having the canister’s
air outlet filter installed correctly.
CLEANING THE MOTOR PROTECTION FILTER (17)
• Periodically check the condition of the motor protection filter (17). It is
important to change or clean this filter regularly in order to maintain the
suction power of the appliance.
• Clean it whenever necessary. To do so, pull the air outlet filter outwards (Fig.
14).
• Shake the filter well or, if necessary, wash it under running water with
soap.
• Important: allow it to dry completely for 24 hours before putting it back
in the canister.
• In order to install it, introduce the filter in its housing and press until the
tabs of the grille extend from the surface of the filter.
• Important: never use the vacuum cleaner without the motor protection
filter.
CLEANING THE AIR OUTLET FILTER (12)
• Periodically check the condition of the air outlet filter (12).
• Remove the filter (12) from the rear of the vacuum cleaner by removing the
air outlet grille (11) (Fig. 15).
• Shake the filter well or, if necessary, wash it under running water with
soap.
• Important: allow it to dry completely for 24 hours before putting it back
on the appliance.
• Once clean, put it back in and close the protective grille (11). To do so, in-
troduce the filter in its housing and close the grille by pressing up on its
top tab until you hear a “click” (Fig. 16).
• Important: Never use the vacuum cleaner without the air outlet filter.
