it is recommanded to use CAT5 Cable.

Step 2. For meter connection, crimp only one RJ45 terminal.
For CT connection without RJ45 connector, there is no need to crimp another
RJ45 terminal.
For CT connection with RJ45 connector, crimp two RJ45 terminal.
Step 3. For meter connection, insert one side of the cable (with no terminal)
into the inverter, and the other side of the cable (with crimped RJ45 terminal)
into the waterproof distribution box.
