When preparing for use with pans 7:
5. Place the pans 7 on the baseplate / cooling area 5.

When preparing for use with the fondue pot 1:
6. Fill the fondue pot 1 with a maximum of 1 liter.
7. Place the fondue pot 1 into the grill4 (image D).
8. Place the fondue forks 6 into the fondue pot 1.
To switch on the appliance:
9. Make sure both temperature controls q r are turned to 0.
10. Plug the power cable 9 into the power port w.
11. Plug the other end of the power cable 9 into a power outlet.
12. Switch the power switch e to I to switch on the appliance.
