Locate surround channel speakers on side walls, behind listening position, and from the floor.
Place left/right surround speakers to sides, and surround back speakers on rear wall.
Place left/right speakers apart, with listening position midway, and away from side walls.
Determine speaker location and survey wall for studs, pipes, or air returns using a stud finder.
Cut the mounting hole using a saw and run speaker wires from the hole to the amplifier.
Strip speaker lead insulation and twist or tin wires to prevent stray strands.
Push spring terminals, insert wires, and double-check positive/negative connections.
Retract Roto-Lock feet, insert speaker into hole, and tighten screws to clamp.
For thicker walls, release locking levers to adjust two-piece toggle feet.
Tighten screws until resistance is felt, ensuring Roto-Lock feet clamp securely.
Place the micro-trim grille against the speaker frame; magnets will hold it in place.
Adjust tweeter by applying light pressure to the ring around its outer edge.
Download the SONOS app, set up your system, and configure room settings.
Select Advanced Audio to detect SONOS Architectural and unlock enhancements.
