PRECAUTION
t. Clean
the
following

alcohol-moistened
swab:
record
/plaYback
head
erase
head
caPstan

Dema.gnetize
the
record/playback
head
with a
head demagnetizer.
(Do
not bring
the
head
de-
magnetizer
close to the
erase
head
)
3.
Do
not
use a
magnetized
screwdriver
for
the
adjustments.
4. After
the
adjustments,
apply
suitable
locking
com-
pound
to the
Parts
adjusted.
Torque
Measurement
with a
denatured-
pinch
roller
rubber
belts
idlers
Tape
Path
Adiustment
When the
mode is
playback
(FWD,
REV),
run a
mi.rror
cassette,
then turn
adjustment
screw to
eliminate
tape
curl and
tape twist
at tape
guide
on
erase head
and record/playback
head.
Adjust
the
height by
using
head shim
if needed.
