"_" Using a histogram
Dark Bright
A histogram is a graph showing the brightness of
an image. Set the mode dial to a. P, S. A or
Scene Selection. then press 1[_1 (Screen display
switch) repeatedly to display the histogram inside
the screen. The graph display indicates a bright
image when skewed to the right side. and a dark
image when skewed to the left side. A{ljust the
exposure while checking it with the histogram.

You can change the fi}cus method. Press the FOCUS button repeatedly when it is dilficult to
get the proper focus in auto R)cus mode.

Focuses automatically on a sub iect iF] all ranges of the finder
frame. When the mode dial ix set to _, only Multipoint AF
is available.
This mode is usehfl when tile suI_iecl is not in tile center of tile

Focuses automatically on a subject near the center of the
frame.
Using this with tile AF lock flmction lets you shoot in tile
desired linage conlposition.
