The flash does not work.
The flash is set to ($) (Flash forced off) (_ stU) 5 in "R('ad Thia First ').
Youcannot use the flash when:
Multi Burst, Burst or Exposure Bracket mode is selected (page 41).
1_6(High Sensitivity) or _ (T_ ilight) is selected in the Scene Selection.
When the mode dial is set to _.
Set the flash to {g(Flash forced on) when _'__ (Beach), _ (High-Speed Shutter) or []
(Landscape) is selected in the Scene Selection.
The close-up (Macro) function does not work.

The date and time are not displayed.
While shooting, the date and time are not disphlyed. Only during playback, Ihe date and time
are displayed.

the brightness of the backlight (page 65, _ st,7) 5 in "Read This Fi_:st').
The LCD screen becomes dark x_hile the flash is being charged (DSC-H5 only).
The image is too bright.
You are shooting a spotlighted sul!ject in a dark location such as on a stage. Adjust the
