• Under direct sunlight or near a healer

delormed, and fills tnay cause a malfimction.
• In a location subject to rocking vibration
• Near strong magnetic placc
• In sandy or dusty places
Be carefifl not to let salad or dust gel into tile

On carrying
Do not sit down in a chair or other place with the
camera ill the back pocket of your trousers or
skirt, as this may cause nlaltunction or damage tile
camera.
On cleaning
Cleaning the LCD screen
Wipe tile screen surlhce with an LCD cleaning kit
/not supplied) to remove fingerprints, dust. etc.
Cleaning the lens
Wipe the lens with a soil cloth to remove
fingerprints, dusL etc.
Cleaning the camera surface
Cleml tile camera surh,cc with a soft cloth slightly
moistened with water, then wipe the surl_ce with
a dW clofll. Do not use the lollowing as they nlay
damage the finish or the casing.

alcohol, disposable cloths, insect repellenL
sunscrcen or insecticide, etc.
• Do not [Ollch the canlera with the above on yotlr
hand.
• Do not leave tile camera in contact wifll lubber
or vinyl tin" a long lime.
On operating temperatures
Your camera is designed Ior use under tile
temperalures between 0°C and 40°C (32°F and
104°F). Shooting in extrenlely cold or hol places
that exceed this range is not reconmlended.
On moisture condensation

If moisture condensation occurs

moisture to cvaporide. Note lhat if you atlempt to
shoot with moisture remaining inside the lens, you
will be unable to record clear inlages.
On the internal rechargeable
backup battery
This camera has an internal rechargeable battcry
lbr maintaining tile date and time and other
settings regaMless ol whclher tile power is on or
old,
This rechargeable battery is continually charged
as long as you are using the camera. However. if
you use file canlma lor only short periods, it
discharges grz_dually, and if you do not use the
camera al all h)r aboul one Illonlh it beconles
completely discharged. In this case. be surc to
charge this rechargeable ballery betbre using the
canlera.
However, cven if lifts rechargeable battery is not
chalged, you can still u_ the camera as long as
you do not record the date and time.
